Ada Carol Newton,

Ada Carol Newton, age 65, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at her home in Beattyville, KY. Ada was born June 22, 1958 in Beattyville, KY, a daughter to the late Corbett Mullins & Rosie M. Pelfrey. She was a caregiver throughout her entire life, as well as a teacher for 20 years, and a pastor & Sunday School teacher for 37 years. She was an amazing artist, although she did not want her work to be seen by the public. Above all else, she was a loving & protective wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 44 ½ years; Herman Newton Jr., 3 children; Robyn Candace Durbin, Herman Isaac (Lea) Newton, and Ashleigh Eden (Marvin Sparks) Newton, 6 grandchildren; Isabella Paislee Morgan Newton, Liam Anikan Oliver Newton, Jada Riley Rae Newton, Jax Westynn Ryder Newton, Journey Rose Eden Newton, and Jaidyn Isaiah Blake Newton, special friend; Teresa Peters, and many other loving family members, and friends. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother; Russell Banks, 1 sister; Sharon Mullins, 3 nephews; Ronnie Herald, Jeremiah Freeman, and Scotty Freeman, 2 nieces; Melissa Freeman, and Debbie Herald.

Funeral services; January 26, 2024 at the Booneville Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Crabtree officiating. Burial; Pleasant Grove Cemetery, located in Booneville, KY. Pallbearers will be; Marvin Sparks, Timmy Begley, Morris Peters, Woodrow Murrell, Carl Sparks, Jordan Noe, Bradley Morrison, and Austin Reece. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Ernie Cornett, Dale Pelfrey, and Bobby Smith.
