KY Senator Mitch McConnell Injured

KY Senator Mitch McConnell was injured today when he fell down the stairs in Washington D.C. 

It is unclear about his injuries, but some are saying that he is ok. He got back up and walked away after he fell, according to some eye witnesses.

McConnell was helped up by Montana Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) and Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin. This happened after voted to confirm Scott Turner as the secretary of United States Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The fall is the latest in a series of health incidents for the 82 years old KY Senator has experienced. He experienced two high-profile “freeze up” incidents on camera. He had to go to the hospital after a fall at a dinner event in Washington in March of 2023, and late last year, he sprained his wrist and cut his face as a result of another fall in Washington.

McConnell McConnell was just made leader of the Senate Republican caucus.
