Thomas Evan Colwell, son of the late Jack and Orie Wooten Estep was born in Hazard, Kentucky on September 13, 1964 and departed this life in Beattyville, Kentucky on May 15, 2024 at the age of 59 years, 8 months, and 2 days.
Mr. Colwell is survived by two children, Lelia Irene Colwell of Jackson, Kentucky and Thomas Evan Colwell, Jr. of Owensboro, Kentucky; four grandchildren, James Curtis Caudill, Jr., Milton Sawyer Caudill, Kenadie Sagan Colwell, and Brooklynn Leann Colwell; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services held at the Chapel on the Ridge in Zoe, Kentucky on June 1, 2024 with Rev. Garland Lacy officiating. Burial at the Napier Family Cemetery in Perry County, Krypton, Kentucky with Pastor Chris Fugate officiating.
Serving as pallbearers: Raymond, Luther, and John White, Caleb Daniel, Christopher White, and Kenneth Neace. Honorary Pallbearers include Tim Chambers, Alfred Thompson, and James and Tommy Caudill.
