The disappearance of a Lee County man is being highlighted as part of the Unsolved in Kentucky Facebook page as family members and law enforcement continue searching for answers.
Jacob Michael Fox, of Beattyville, has been missing since July 1, 2023. He was 24 years old at the time of his disappearance. According to family members, Fox was last seen in front of the Merigold Apartments in Beattyville after leaving his home that Saturday. He has not been heard from since.
Fox is described as a white male, standing approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds. He has blonde hair, blue eyes, and gauged ear piercings. Distinguishing tattoos include two black birds on his chest, an “A” inside a circle on his knee, a cross on his right thigh, a 3D fox on his right bicep, and a spider web on his left elbow.
At the time he was last seen, Fox was reportedly wearing a T-shirt, black jeans, and black-and-white tennis shoes. He may have been carrying a backpack and a white seashell necklace.
Family members describe Fox as a beloved son, brother, and friend who is deeply missed. A reward is being offered for information leading to his safe return, and loved ones say they will not stop searching for answers.
Anyone who has seen Jacob Michael Fox or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact authorities.
