RUBY JEAN PATRICK BEST, the wife of 23 years to James “Jim” Benton Best of Beattyville, Kentucky and the daughter of the late Dave and Wilma Stephens Patrick, was born in Willard, Ohio on December 16, 1956, and departed this life in Winchester, Kentucky on May 31, 2024 at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 15 days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lakefront Church of God in Salyersville, Kentucky.
In addition to her husband Jim, Mrs. Best is survived by her daughter, Angellia Rowe (Tim Dingus) of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, her son, Joshua (Frankie Arnett) of Winchester, Kentucky; daughters, Jamie (Billy) Summers, Jennifer Weister of Claremore, Oklahoma; 3 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Best was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, David Patrick.
