Lee County unfortunately couldn’t capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. The Bobcats came up short against the Hazard Bulldogs/Lady Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 3-0.
The loss continues a difficult trend for Lee County in their meetings with Hazard — they’ve now dropped seven straight matchups against the Bulldogs/Lady Bulldogs.
The victory brought Hazard back to even on the season at 1-1.
Looking ahead, Lee County will square off against Jackson County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hazard will return home to host Leslie County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
