Drivers who use KY 1886 (Cressy Road) in Estill County will have to find an alternate route on Saturday, Sept. 20. The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at milepoint 5.6 for replacement of a drainage pipe. This location is approximately 1/2 mile north of KY 89.
No signed detour will be posted. Drivers can use KY 89 and Racetrack Road as an alternate route to bypass the closure.
In case of inclement weather, the closure may be postponed until another suitable day.
Around 270 vehicles use this portion of KY 1886 each day.
