JUDY BARNETT, 76, passed away on May 18, 2024 at Landmark of Breathitt Nursing Home in Jackson, Kentucky. Judy was born on October 18, 1948 in Lee County, Kentucky to the late Frank Barnett and Sara Johnson Barnett. She graduated from Lee County School in Beattyville, Kentucky and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Beattyville. She was also a former mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Beattyville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Sunny Barnett; two sisters, Dorothy Couch and Phyllis Evans.
She is survived by her son, Frank Nathaniel (Billie) Wilson of Scottsburg, Indiana; a sister, Patty of Jackson, Kentucky; two grandkids, Kelsey Wooten of Deputy, Indiana and Cody Vires of Scottsburg, Indiana; and two great grandkids, Matt and Joseph Price.
A graveside service was held at the Couch Cemetery on Hopewell Rd. in Lee County on Saturday, May 25, 2024. Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville in charge of arrangements.
