Janet Rae Hollon, daughter of Larkin and Elizabeth Bowman Hollon was born in Loveland, Ohio on August 28, 1939 and departed this life in Richmond, Indiana on September 18, 2023 at the age of 84 years and 21 days. She is survived by her step-brothers and step-sister, Dale Smith and wife Jeri of Ft. Myers, Florida; Gale Smith and wife Heather of Benton, Wisconsin, and Kelly Strong and husband Doug of Herrin, Illinois; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her step-father, Gilbert Smith; one sister, Shirley Byrd; and one brother, Jeff Hollon. Services held Sept. 28th, 2023 at Pinnacle Cemetery of Beattyville, prior to burial. Newnam Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
