Emergency Road Aid Funds Awarded to Lee County

JACKSON, Ky.  – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced that the Lee County Fiscal Court will receive $49,540 in County Road Aid emergency funds for repair of a drainage structure on John Mays Road (CR 1256).

     “The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve this request for funding to provide assistance to Lee County to repair and maintain safe connections in the community,” said Transportation Secretary Jim Gray.

     The drainage structure to be repaired is just northwest of Brushy Creek Road near the Owsley County line.

     The Lee County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
