Anthony “Tony” Dewayne Spencer, also known as TT by the ones who loved him the most, husband of Patricia Ann Hobbs Spencer and the son of Sandra Coomer Spencer was born in Campton, Kentucky on August 19, 1966 and peacefully departed this life surrounded by his family at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky on September 25, 2023 at the age of 57 years, 1 month, and 6 days. He was baptized into the Community Christian Church and was also a member of the Wide Creek Community Church. He was Crude Oil Truck Driver for over 25 years. In addition to his wife, Patricia and his mother, Sandra, Tony is survived by one son, Josh Spencer and wife Brittany; the sweetest grandson, Owen Spencer; one sister, Teresa Spencer Lowe and husband Richard all of Richmond, Kentucky; a special sister-in-law, Jodi Coldiron and husband Al; special uncle, Donnie Coomer; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and close friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Martha & Ernest Coomer and paternal grandparents, Ruby and Clarence Spencer. Pallbearers: Nick Roberts, Josh Spencer, Jacob Sparks, Stevie Estes, Tim Angel, Richard Lowe, Dean Noe, and Tony Hobbs. Honorary Pallbearers: Robert Bowman, Dale Creech, Donnie Best, Jared Best, Larry Dunahoo, Jr., Donnie Coomer.
Funeral Services will be held at Newnam Funeral Home on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 1 PM with burial following at the Rock of Ages Memorial Cemetery. Visitation Fri. 6-9 PM.
