Betty Holloway

 Betty Holloway, age 73, passed away on October 24, 2024, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. Betty was born July 30, 1951 in Louisville, Tennessee to the late Frank and Katheryn (Gibbs) Holloway. She spent most of her life in Ypsilanti, Michigan and was a member of the Graceway Baptist Church there. She loved to cook and bake with her granddaughter.

   Betty is survived by her daughter, Susan Rogers of Beattyville. KY, 2 sisters; Cathy (James) Evans of Booneville, KY and Debbie (Dave) Lewis of Edwards, Missouri, 1 granddaughter; Sarah Rogers (Ben Wojtczak) and 2 step grandchildren; Keelie and Tessa Wills, 1 sister-in-law; Mary Holloway of Romulus, Michigan, her special friend and companion, Dave Fazzolare and a host of nieces and nephews.

   Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Katheryn Holloway, 1 brother; David Holloway and 1 Grandson; Matthew Doerscheln, son-in-law; David Lynn Rogers and nephew Sgt. William Glenn Bowling.

  A memorial service for Betty will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the Beattyville First Church of God, 1061 Hwy 11 South, Beattyville, Ky, 41311. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Booneville Funeral Home. The Booneville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
