Mercy Health—Marcum and Wallace Hospital is thrilled to announce its inclusion on the prestigious list of the 350 cleanest hospitals in the United States, as recognized by Becker's Hospital Review. This accolade comes from the hospital's outstanding performance in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) five-star rating for cleanliness.
     
The CMS rating system is derived from patient feedback collected through the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems surveys, a nationally standardized survey that gathers insights from hospital patients regarding their inpatient stays. Data from surveys conducted between October 2022 and September 2023 contributed to the latest ratings, with the most recent update as of July 31. Among the esteemed institutions listed, Mercy Health—Marcum and Wallace Hospital proudly represents Kentucky among ten other hospitals on the roster of cleanliness.
