Lee County Local, Dr. Avis Thompson, Co-Authors a New Book

    Dr. Avis Thompson of Lee County has co-authored a new book entitled “E.P.I.C Empty Nesters.” 

     According to the introduction, the book takes you on a journey from emptiness to encouragement as the co-authors navigate their personal Empty Nester journey. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll dance. You’ll prance. You might even pee in your pants (maybe just a little).

     This book is for anyone who is an Empty Nester, who loves an Empty Nester or who secretly wants to be an Empty Nester. Grab your favorite beverage and some tissue and get ready to soar into the marvelous universe of the E.P.I.C. Empty Nesters.

     Dr. Thompson will be having a book signing at the Lee County Public Library on Tuesday, August 27th from 4pm to 6pm, and at the Locally Made Farmers Market located on Main Street in Beattyville on Friday, August 30th from 11am – 1pm.
