Jackson Energy Warns of Scam
Jackson Energy announced on Tuesday that there have been reports of individuals claiming to work for KY Utilities, driving on scooters attempting to sell solar panels. They are also asking individuals they speak with to scan a QR code on their phones to “set up an appointment to inspect their home”. This person or persons DO NOT work for Jackson Energy and is NOT believed to work for KU. They do not have a legitimate ID or business card to identify themselves as an employee. Please be on alert and warn your family members who are also in this service area.
