A Different View By Betty Crabtree
One of my favorite verses is Colossians 3:17, it says it this way in the Living Bible, “And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus and come with Him into the presence of God the Father every step of the way.” And I like v6, “be gracious in your speech. The goal is to bring out the best in others in a conversation…”
But the KJV is probably my most favorite. “And what so ever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the Father by Him.” What so ever in word or deed? Think about that. Whatever we SAY OR DO?
As to what some people say, I have heard words I never heard years, just get on your phone, better be careful what you may accidentally tap on. Phillipians 4 tells us to ‘fix your thoughts on what is true and good and right. Think about things that are pure and lovely and dwell on the good things in others. Think about all you can praise God for and be glad about it.’
