Loretta “Fannie” Harris Brandenburg

Loretta “Fannie” Harris Brandenburg, widow of Frank Brandenburg and the daughter of the late George Dock and Laura Allen Harris was born in Lee County, Kentucky on April 27, 1933 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville, Kentucky on August 31, 2023 at the age of 90 years, 4 months, and 4 days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church. Mrs. Brandenburg leaves behind two children, Robert Brandenburg and wife Donna of Winchester, Kentucky and Edna Fraley and husband Rob of Middletown, Ohio; six grandchildren, Sarah Fraley also of Middletown, Otis Osborne, Jr. and wife April of Beattyville, Robby Brandenburg and wife Evelyn of Clarksville, Tenneesee, DyAnna Herald and husband Cameron of Booneville, Kentucky, Brenda Johnson and husband Brent of Waco, Kentucky, and Laura Osborne of Lexington, Kentucky; 10 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lulla Mae Lynch and June Tillery both of McKee, Kentucky; a special sister-in-law, Geneva Flannery Foreman of Booneville; two special friends, Ron Rowland and Sally Hounchell both of Beattyville; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Brandenburg was preceded in death by two children, Lloyd Brandenburg and Tilda Sue Osborne; and nine siblings, Bernie, Irvine, and Robert Harris, Nancy Herald, Elisha “Cap” McIntosh and wife Mary, Vincent, Andy, Icymae, and Ike Harris. Pallbearers include Robert Brandenburg, Robby Brandenburg, Rob Fraley, Timmy Harris, Otis Osborne, Jr., Curtis Mills, Eddie Harris, Sarah Fraley, and Ron Rowland.
Services held Sept. 2nd, 2023 at Newnam Funeral Home of Beattyville. Tony Herald officiating. Burial; Brandenburg- McIntosh Cemetery of Pawpaw Rd of Lee County. Newnam in charge of arrangements.
