Jason Turner, age 40, passed away suddenly Thursday, November 23, 2023 at the Hazard Regional Medical Center, in Hazard, KY. Jason was born April 13, 1983 in Manchester, KY, a son to Jackie (Caudell) Rice, and the late Seaber Turner. In his free-time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, listening to music, and traveling. Along with his mother; Jackie Rice of Beattyville, KY, he is survived by his siblings; Glenn Turner of Beattyville, KY, David (Michaela) Combs of Richmond, KY, Brandon (Crystal) Combs of Cincinnati, OH, Billy (Sharon Wilder) of Cincinnati, OH, Angel Lisa Wilder of Cincinnati, OH, Stella (Fred) Singleton of Florence, KY, Zack & Briana Glenn, and Chloe & Cayden Caudell of Booneville, KY. Aunts & Uncles; Herbert (Cindy) Caudell on Cincinnati, OH, Stanley and Freddy Turner of Breathitt County, KY, Cleo Bryant of Arizonia, Gladys Tarter of Middletown, OH, Irene Turner of Longs Creek, bonus family; Jamie Burns, Braxton Anthony Glancy, Michelle & Beckie Roberts, Steve & Angie Sellers and family, and Jennell & Roger Combs, special friends; Donna Epperson, Melissa Coleman, Sarah Wireman, Jennifer Kilburn, Jimmi Lynn Davis, Aaron Evans, Elisa Allen Wood & staff Dasha Dodd, Jeremy Jernigan, Rose Sheilds, Lisa White, Kristy Stamper, and Peggy Bruce Estepp. Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; Shella & Shirley Caudell, and Fred & Effie Turner, his step-dad Lee, brothers; Keith, Greg, Gary, Uncles; Elbert, Edd, and William, Aunts; Dot, Janice, Ruby, Maggie, Nami, Patty Sue, and cousin Little Gary.

Funeral service held Thursday, November 30, 2023 at the Booneville Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Morgan officiating. He was laid to rest in the A.G. Caudell Cemetery, located in Booneville, KY.
