Glenda Marie Sowers Johnson, age 54, departed this life on May 7, 2025, in Beattyville, Kentucky.
Glenda was born on October 28, 1970, in Michigan to the late Dean Sowers and Linda Waters Sowers.
In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her grandmother, Margaret Kruze.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by the father of her children, Russell Johnson, 5 children, Laura Sue Flynn and husband Robert, Ashley Nicole Brooks and husband Brad, Linda Marie Noble and husband Johnathan, And Robert Henry Johnson and wife Tiffany, and Dustin Graham and Taylor. 14 grandchildren, Aniya, Phoenix, Gabriel, Kimberlin, Avery, Kai, Dakota, Ella, Wyatt, Oaklynn, Kenton, Jaxon, Lillymae, and Waylon. 1 sister, Yolanda Sowers as well as numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends to miss her and mourn her passing.
Funeral services for Glenda Marie Sowers Johnson will be conducted on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lewis Home for Funerals. Brother Ellis Thacker will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Beattyville, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Michael Flynn, Johnathan Noble, Bradley Brooks, Paul May, Robert Johnson, Dustin Graham, and Russell Johnson, and Russell Sowers.
