Gordon Treadway

Gordon Treadway, born January 14, 1946 and passed away March 18, 2025. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet Rose Treadway and daughter Jessica Treadway (Josh Smith) and several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was a member of several

organizations: VFW, Masons, Shriners, American Legion, JC’s and others.

  Gordon was a retired lineman from Jackson Energy after 36 years of service.

Services were held at Newnam Funeral Home on Friday, March 21, 2025 with Mark Treadway officiating. Burial followed in the Riverview Cemetery. James Treadway, Mark

Treadway, Michael Ammerman, Jon Rose, Remington Capps, and Joshua Gordon Smith served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Kyle Rose, Pete Slaughter, Carolyn Brewer, and Debbie Harris.
