Kentucky Dragway Planning for Big Memorial Day Weekend

CLAY CITY, Ky. — Kentucky Dragway brings another great event to the biggest weekend in motorsports with the Memorial Day Remember & Honor races scheduled for May 23-25.
The weekend gears up with a Friday test-and-tune along with the Clay City 64 Shootout which features $5,000 to win. Entry fee is $50 for the test-and-tune and $150 for the shootout. Gates open at 2 p.m. and the test-and-tune begins at 5 p.m.

Saturday and Sunday feature $5,000-to-win races for the Top E.T. class. Entry fees are $150 for a single day or $200 for both days. It’s $350 for double entries.
Modified racers will face off for a $700 winner’s prize with just $40 to enter. Racers can enter both the Sportsman and Trophy classes. It’s $35 entry for each class or just $50 if they decide to run both classes.
Junior Dragster racers will compete for a $150 winner’s purse with a $35 entry fee. Buybacks are available in all classes.
Gates open at 10 a.m. both days with time runs to begin at noon, followed by eliminations.
Spectators and crew are $20 per day and $50 for the weekend. Kids ages 7-12 are half off admission, while those 6-under get in free.
