Riverside Run 5K for the LOVE LOCAL flood relief fund

Riverside Run (or walk) 5K for the LOVE LOCAL flood relief fund! Join us in beautiful Beattyville, KY, for the Riverside Run 5K, a race dedicated to supporting our community’s flood recovery efforts. Beattyville is a small eastern Kentucky town on the banks of the Kentucky River, where the north and south fork rivers meet to give birth to the Kentucky River.    

     This scenic 5K will take you through Beattyville’s charming Main Street, including the Farmers Market, local shops, and our newly renovated Town Square. The route continues along River Drive, offering stunning views of the birthplace of the Kentucky River. 

     Our small river community has a big heart, and your participation will help us continue to recover. 

     Since the devastating 2021 flood, we’ve worked hard to revitalize our downtown through the Love Local Fund, which has supported business signage, awning and paint grants, and promotional efforts. Sadly, we were recently impacted by another historic flood, causing significant damage to our downtown once again.

     Proceeds from this race will directly support the Love Local Fund’s continued recovery efforts, helping businesses restore and rebuild. 

     A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the LCMHS Track Team, our race partner. Race Hosts: Beattyville Main Street, Beattyville/Lee County Tourism, & LCMHS Track Team.
