Last week, Captain Emery Crawford alerted to the Three Forks Regional Jail staff that inmates were suspiciously passing something between each other during Visitation.

At that time, Captains Jeff Ragan and Aaron Shelton pulled the inmates out and conducted a search.

They discovered pieces of orange pills that appeared to be Buprenorphine (controlled substance).

Then, Lee County Jailer Justin Shuler was notified. He charged Larry Stivers and Jacob Stamper with promoting contraband.

Also, last week, Captains Josh Ward and Jeff Ragan were observing an inmate in his cell suspiciously passing something to another inmate. The Captains quickly proceeded go into the cell and intercepted the inmate. They searched him and found orange pills that appeared to be Buprenorphine.

Then, Lee County Jailer Justin Shuler was notified again and had to charge William Patrick with promoting contraband too.

Whichever arrest happened first, it is not specified, the info just states all arrests happened on February 5, 2025 at Three Forks Regional Jail.

Many continued thanks to the TFRJ staff led by Jared Pelfrey and Lee County Jailer Justin Shuler for their service to our communities.
