There's no place like home for Lee County, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-30 win over the Powell County Pirates on Tuesday. This was payback for the Bobcats, who suffered a 41-34 loss the last time these two teams met.
Lee County's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-6. As for Powell County, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Lee County has already played their next matchup, a 50-34 defeat against Owsley County on the 30th. As for Powell County, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-46 loss against Estill County on the 31st.
