Kenneth Millard Frye, 90, of Booneville, Kentucky passed away January 10, 2025
at his residence following a long illness. Mr. Frye was born May 2, 1934 in Owsley County, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Harlan and Florence Abshear Frye, a retired coal miner and member of the
Sugar Camp Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Mrs. Rose Mary Brewer Frye of Booneville, Kentucky, two daughters Mrs. Sandra “Chuck” Spence of Booneville, Kentucky and Mrs. Sheila “James Paul” McIntosh of Booneville, Kentucky. Three sons Mr. Scott Frye of Stanton, Kentucky, Mr. Steve “Carolyn” Frye of Booneville, Kentucky and Mr. Shawn Frye of Booneville, Kentucky, 12 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren and one brother Mr. Harold Frye of Booneville, Kentucky. Also he
leaves behind several relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Harlan and Florence Abshear Frye, one son Stacey Frye and one sister Jean Creamer.
Services held Friday, January 17, 2025 pm at the Searcy and Strong Funeral Home with Brother Harold Hayes officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Booneville, Kentucky.
The Searcy and Strong Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangement.
